These consultations are not intended for those who are in crisis. If you are in crisis, call 911 and/or go to the nearest emergency room.
If you would like to schedule a phone consultation for yourself or child, please first review the information on this page.
I am able to provide a non-patient consultation (as described on this page) to anyone in any state or country.
I am only able to provide direct treatmentto those who live in or can travel to a state where I am licensed (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio & Florida).
The scheduling calendar for requesting a non-patient consultation is at the bottom of this page. The times and fees are listed below. If you have further questions, not answered here, you are welcome to start with a free discovery call.
Who Might Consider a Non-Patient Phone Consultation?
Those interested in learning more about specific root causes (listed below) that may be contributing to their or their child's specific brain related symptoms.
Those who have not fully benefited from or tolerated previous allopathic/conventional psychiatric treatment or functional medicine treatment. They may feel they are not progressing or something is being missed.
Those who would like me to review their labs in the context of their symptoms, timeline and current treatment.
Those interested in resources specific to their situation, such as labs that they may order on their own (or discuss with their doctor). Because these non-patient phone consultations do not involve a comprehensive treatment evaluation,I am unable to order labs, prescribe medication or give detailed treatment plan.
AND/OR
Those interested in possible treatment who would like to discuss their concerns in more depth than is possible in a 15 minute discover call. Treatment appointments are available to those who live in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida or Ohio, or who are able to travel to one of those states for their tele-health (video) appointments. As with the discovery call, the non-patient phone consultation allows us both to consider if this type of treatment will be a good fit. It also allows me to collect information, review any previous labs, and provide education about the likely root causes, which can shorten the time needed for the evaluation. Based on the consultation, if treatment is deemed appropriate, some choose to start completing relevant lab tests (that they order on their own or discuss with their doctor) so that results are available at the time of their patient treatment evaluation. Though I am a licensed physician and not opposed to psychiatric medications, that is not the focus of my practice or continuing education. As a result, I do not prescribe or manage psychiatric medications. However, I do prescribe compounded nutrient therapy, medication for mast cell stabilization, mold toxicity and/or candida, when indicated.
Once the consultation is purchased and scheduled... I will invite you to share any other information you would like me to review prior to your consultation, such as:
Your goals for the call.
Informal 1-2 page timeline using your (or your child's age) to mark notable events, exposures, onset of symptoms, medical or psychiatric diagnoses, etc.
List of current medications and supplements.
Relevant lab reports, if any.
During your consultation, I will obtain further information from you to better understand what factors may be contributing to your symptoms, what may have been missed previously in terms of underlying factors, diagnoses or treatments, provide direction on how you can move forward, and help you understand the bigger picture of your illness.
Children If the phone consultation is regarding a child under the age of 18, they do not need to be present on the call unless that is your preference. If a treatment evaluation is scheduled after the consultation, your child would need to be present for part of the appointment, which would be by video.
Before requesting a phone consultation, please read the MEDICAL DISCLAIMER below.
