Practical Wellness Group
Had someone offered a wellness group to me when I was pursuing my own health challenges (and those of my daughter), I would not have been interested. Like many who seek out functional and holistic approaches to health, I was independent minded and somewhat self reliant. Groups weren’t my thing.
For me and my family, we largely “went it alone.” By that I mean, we figured out how to shop, how to prepare food, how to lower toxicity in our environment, how to lower inflammation and stress. Not the least, we learned how to listen to ourselves and find peace and calm in our lives - all in a world that seemed at odds with what we were needing, not just to heal, but to thrive. It wasn’t until very late, that I learned how important it was for me to be with others on a similar journey.
What would I have benefitted from? What information, tools, and support did I need that went beyond what could be covered in a follow-up appointment? Out of those questions came a strong intention to offer and lead a Practical Wellness Group, detailed below.
If you feel this is for you, please let us know. Also let us know if this is of interest, but the times, frequency, or structure is not a fit for you.
